A coach is an educator that uses athletics to develop character and teach strategies for skill development and strategic thinking. A coach creates an atmosphere that makes each athlete feel valued and motivates them to work hard and improve in each practice or drill with the goal of contributing to the team.
Before we can expect the teams taking the court to display good sportsmanship, the effort should start with the administration and coaching staffs at both schools becoming familiar with each other prior to arrival.
