Many sports and news programs on television today have begun including specific segments dedicated to athletes displaying unsportsmanlike behavior. As athletes seemingly become more bombastic with each passing year, the media’s depiction of their behavior and attitudes has also changed drastically with the result being a lack of emphasis on the value of sportsmanship.
