Noah Brewer
Loudon High School senior Noah Brewer has been recognized with the NFHS Student-Athlete Award of Excellence for an extraordinary act of sportsmanship and leadership. Presented by the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) and the National Federation of State High School Associations, the award highlights Brewer's initiative and dedication to his teammates.
During a recent absence by his coach due to a faculty meeting, Brewer stepped up without being asked. Ensuring his cross country team wouldn’t miss a day of practice, he organized the group, prepared water bottles, and even followed along their route to provide water breaks. This proactive effort not only kept the team on schedule but also demonstrated his commitment to his peers and the program.
A multi-sport athlete active in Track, Cross Country, and the NJROTC, Brewer is described by his coach and teammates as a positive role model who consistently supports others' achievements—often attending academic ceremonies for teammates while excelling in his own activities. Brewer also participates in numerous extracurricular organizations, including Key Club and Rotary, showcasing a dedication to service and leadership beyond athletics.
Noah Brewer’s award-winning example proves that leadership is not about being told what to do but about taking the initiative to do what’s right. As students and athletes alike look to their peers for guidance, this act of selflessness offers inspiration across Loudon High School and beyond. Let’s all follow Brewer’s lead and remember that sportsmanship is as vital as the games we play—it’s the foundation of lasting character.
