As Week 4 of the TSSAA high school football season kicks off, excitement is building for another full slate of games. A total of 179 contests are on the schedule, including 86 key region matchups that could shape the playoff picture, along with nine games against non-member opponents.
Fans are reminded to bring their best spirit of sportsmanship, knowing these games showcase not just their schools, but their entire communities.
For those who can’t be there in person, more than 80 games will be available on the NFHS Network, giving viewers across Tennessee and beyond the chance to tune in. A subscription also provides access to other fall sports, including volleyball and soccer.

Historical Notes
Christian Brothers at MBA: These two teams have faced each other in the playoffs four times. The earliest date being in the 1999 playoff championship when MBA took a 49-15 victory. Most recently, in the 2021 playoff semifinals, MBA won 42-14.
