  10. The Board voted to instruct the state office to make the draw for the regional and state tennis tournaments.
  11. The Board reviewed the action of the Legislative Council meeting held on December 6, 2017.
  12. The Board was provided an update regarding the Tennessee Sports Medicine Advisory Committee.

  15. The Board voted to extend the contract of the Executive Director for the next three years.
  16. The Board voted to approve the request from Knoxville Catholic High School to move to Division II beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.
  17. The Board voted to approve the request of Crosstown High School for TSSAA membership beginning with the 2018-2019 school year. Crosstown High School is a new public charter school under the Shelby County Board of Education. It plans to open with 9th graders the first year and add a grade each year. Projected enrollment is 150 students. They will participate in Division I, Class A, District 15 in basketball, baseball, volleyball, and softball, West (Small) in track and field, cross country, golf, and tennis, and District 19 in Bowling.

The Board voted to deny the request from Grace Christian Academy (Franklin) to move to Division II in all sports, with the exception of football, beginning with the 2018-2019 school year and to move to Division II in the sport of football beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. The Board voted to allow Grace Christian Academy (Franklin) to move to Division II in all sports beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.
