The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) is thrilled to announce the addition of Lexie Crawford to the staff as the new Coordinator of Sports Information and Digital Content. Lexie brings a great deal of enthusiasm to this vital role, which will help bridge the gap between TSSAA and its digital audience.

Lexie, a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is a recent graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Communications. Her journey in sports media began during her high school years at Blackman High School, where she actively participated in various extracurricular activities and developed a passion for high school athletics.

During her time at Austin Peay, Lexie honed her skills in sports media and content creation. She worked in the university's athletic department, serving as the content coordinator for the baseball team and assisting the management of social media pages during different athletic seasons. Her experience extends beyond campus, as she also served as the Director of Digital Media and Marketing for the Canes Tennessee Baseball Organization, where she created graphics, photographed events, and developed strategies to increase engagement across social media platforms.

TSSAA Executive Director Mark Reeves expressed his excitement about the new hire. "We are delighted to welcome Lexie Crawford to the TSSAA family,” said Reeves. “Her experience, skills, and passion for high school sports make her an excellent fit for this position. We believe Lexie will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and sharing the inspiring stories of our student-athletes, coaches, and administrators."

In her new role, Lexie will be responsible for generating and managing engaging content across TSSAA's websites and social media platforms. She will work closely with staff members to ensure that the association's online presence remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and visually appealing. Additionally, Lexie will collaborate with the Director of Media Relations and the Director of Marketing to implement strategies that elevate TSSAA's digital presence and increase audience engagement.

Lexie's background as a Blackman High School alumna gives her a unique perspective on the importance of TSSAA in the lives of student-athletes. "I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to join the TSSAA team," Lexie said. "Having attended Blackman High School, I've always known how special the TSSAA organization is. I'm eager to apply my skills and knowledge to help showcase the exceptional stories and achievements within the TSSAA community."

Outside of her professional life, Lexie is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys attending live sporting events. Her passion for athletics, combined with her technical skills and creativity, makes her an ideal fit for the TSSAA team. As TSSAA continues to evolve in the digital age, Lexie's role will be instrumental in reinforcing the association's commitment to education and sportsmanship while engaging with a broader audience.

The entire TSSAA family welcomes Lexie Crawford and looks forward to the positive impact she will make in her new role as Sports Information and Digital Content.
