We’ve reached Week 6 of the high school football season, with six weeks remaining in the regular season! A total of 176 games are on the schedule this week.
Of those matchups, 116 will feature region-on-region competition. Six teams will take on non-TSSAA opponents, while 13 games are set for Thursday or Saturday. Fans can also catch 82 contests live on the NFHS Network.
As always, we encourage all fans to cheer passionately for their schools while honoring the spirit of sportsmanship. Courtesy, fair play, and respect for both opponents and officials remain the foundation of the game. With this week being Officials Appreciation Week, we especially remind everyone to recognize and thank the officials whose dedication makes these contests possible.
