We’ve reached the midway point of the 2026 high school football season, with teams across Tennessee preparing for their Week 7 matchups this weekend. A total of 173 games are scheduled on the TSSAA slate, including 126 region contests. Of those games, 39 will be played on Thursday or Saturday.
The 2026 BlueCross Bowl State Football Championships are set for December 3–5 at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga.
As the season continues, we encourage fans across the state to help create a positive and respectful atmosphere at every game. Cheer passionately for your team while continuing to show sportsmanship and respect toward players, coaches, officials, and fellow fans. Together, we can make every Friday night a memorable experience and ensure Tennessee high school football remains a great experience for everyone.
