The TSSAA Board of Control will meet on Thursday, November 20 at the TSSAA office building in Hermitage. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. CST.
Being first year of a new format for the DI football playoff brackets, the Board of Control will discuss how this has been perceived in their respective areas. Should the Board of Control wish to continue with this format, the brackets for years 2, 3, and 4 of the 2025-2029 classification cycle will need to be approved at a subsequent meeting.
The Board will hear a review of the proposals for changes to the TSSAA Bylaws that were discussed at the Regional Meetings this year. The Legislative Council will vote on the proposals in December.
The Board will consider requests from Tri-Cities Christian Academy and Dr. Paul L. Kelley Volunteer Academy to join the association. Tri-Cities Christian Academy is requesting to become a TSSAA member school for the 2026-27 school year. Dr. Paul L. Kelley Volunteer Academy is requesting to become a member school for the 2025-26 school year.
