The TSSAA Board of Control will meet on Monday, August 15 at the Wilson County Board of Education Administrative & Training Complex, which is located at 415 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087. The meeting will be held in the Wilson County Schools Board Room and will begin at 9:00 a.m. central time. Anyone attending the meeting is asked to park in the "Event Parking" lot and enter through the "Event Entrance" into the building.
The Board will review and vote on approval of financial reports for the sports of baseball, softball, soccer, track & field, and tennis. The financial statements for the 2021-2022 school year will be provided to the Board for approval along with a complete review of the auditor’s report. In conjunction with the audit, the Board will be asked to approve the proposed budget for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Board will need to determine the number of classes in each sport for the upcoming classification period.
Two schools have submitted requests to join the association. Clayton Bradley Academy, an independent school in Maryville and Monroe County Virtual School, located in Madisonville have both submitted requests for membership in TSSAA.
