The TSSAA Board of Control will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, October 30 at 9:30 a.m. CDT to hear appeals from schools regarding the status of forfeited football games. The Howard School is seeking a forfeit win and $2000 as a result of the game scheduled with Rhea County High School that was not played.

Lookout Valley High School is appealing its postseason ban for football (2024-2026), which was imposed as a result of their forfeiting a region game to South Pittsburg High School.

    Booker T. Washington High School is appealing its postseason ban for football (2024-2026) and $2000 fee, which was imposed as a result of their forfeiting a region game to Westwood.

    Two items will be discussed regarding enrollments and classification.
