The TSSAA Board of Control met in Mt. Juliet on Thursday, October 1 in a special called meeting to address three items.
The Board voted to approve Science Hill High School's appeal regarding the use of ineligible players in its first two contests, allowing the school to keep its two victories while paying a fine. The board also voted to proceed with Division II football classification without moving any teams up a class. In addition, it denied the appeal of Chattanooga Christian School, which had objected to its placement in Division II Class AAA football after a change in classification guidelines eliminated the success formula.
