Board of Control hears appeals from three schools

The Board of Control met via video conference, on Monday, February 12, 2024.

The Oakhaven High School, Hillcrest High School, and Bluff City High School girls' basketball programs were recently placed on restrictive probation for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. The Board heard appeals from all three schools.

HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL
Voted to uphold the restrictive probation penalty and accompanying fines for the 2023-24 school year and to allow Hillcrest High School to request a second appeal for additional relief at a later date, provided there are no other unsportsmanlike incidents.

OAKHAVEN HIGH SCHOOL
Voted to uphold the restrictive probation penalty and accompanying fines for the 2023-24 school year and to allow Oakhaven High School to request a second appeal for additional relief at a later date, provided there are no other unsportsmanlike incidents.

BLUFF CITY HIGH SCHOOL
Voted to uphold the restrictive probation penalty and accompanying fines for the 2023-24 school year and to allow Bluff City High School to request a second appeal for additional relief at a later date, provided there are no other unsportsmanlike incidents.
