The Board of Control members that represent the East and Middle Tennessee Grand Divisions held a called meeting on Wednesday, August 10 to appoint replacements for the Athletic District 1 and 6 vacancies on the board. Mike Reed and Bryan True, longtime TSSAA Board of Control members, recently retired, creating the vacancies.
1. Randy Rogers, Principal at Jefferson County High School, was elected to fill the Board of Control seat representing Athletic District 1.
2. Rachel Moore, Assistant Principal at Lawrence County High School, was elected to fill the Board of Control seat representing Athletic District 6.
These individuals will serve until the regular Board of Control elections held in November at the Regional Meetings.
