The Board of Control for the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association held its meeting on November 21, 2024 in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
Multiple schools appealed their district/region alignment in classification for the upcoming 2025-2029 cycle. The results of those appeals can be found in the summary below.
The Board heard a review of the eight proposals for changes to the TSSAA Bylaws that were discussed at the Regional Meetings this year. The Legislative Council will vote on the proposals in December.
Three schools (Tipton Christian Academy, Zion Christian Academy, Valley Christian Academy, and Redemption School of Worship) submitted membership requests that were approved. The Board voted to table the request of Valley Christian Academy until the January meeting due to their request for a co-op exception, which may be addressed by a proposal submitted for the Legislative Council in December.
