After the official start of the high school football season last week, we now look towards Week 2 with a total of 177 games to be played.

13 games feature region matchups this week and 13 games will be played on Thursday. The region matchups this week are:

Mt. Juliet Christian at Chattanooga Grace
Gibbs at Seymour
Webb School at DCA
MTCS at Friendship Christian
Antioch at Stewarts Creek
Oakhaven at Booker T. Washington
Douglass at Fairley
Bluff City at Freedom Prep
Trezevant at Hamilton (Thursday)
Memphis Middle College at Memphis Business (Thursday)
KIPP at Mitchell (Thursday)
MASE at Westwood (Thursday)

14 teams this week will face opponents that are not members of TSSAA and 14 teams have an open date during Week 2.

One game this week is a rematch of a BlueCross Bowl Championship game 15 years ago and another game is a rematch of a semifinal game from last year.

Riverdale at Franklin - 2004 state championship, Riverdale won 35-7
Henry County at Beech - 2018 state semifinals, Henry Co. won 13-7
