Officials must attend at least ONE state sponsored rules meeting and THREE local interpretation meetings (check with your local association) each school year.
If meeting requirements are not met, the official will be placed on a Probation Status for the following school year. This status is used only as a reminder that meeting requirements must be met the following school year! If meeting requirements are not met during the “Probation Status” school year, then registration will be suspended for the following school year. Therefore, failure to make the meeting requirements for TWO CONSECUTIVE years, will result in a registration suspension in that sport(s) for the third year.
An official can check meeting attendance history by logging into their Arbiter account, click on the PROFILE tab, and then click on CUSTOM FIELDS (left side of page). Meeting attendance for all sports and the Status for each sport can be viewed there.
