The state office is collecting school enrollment numbers in order to see if there are adjustments that need to be made prior to 2015-16 and 2016-17. After adopting the four-year classification plan, the TSSAA Board of Control voted to reevaluate school enrollments after two years and move those schools that have had a 20% increase or decrease in enrollment. The increase or decrease must be significant enough to cause the school to move into another class. All district and regional alignments will remain as is with the exception of those schools that qualify to be moved up or down. The TSSAA Board of Control voted to adopt the Division I Alternate Six Class Football Plan for the next two year cycle beginning with the 2015-16 school term. After all enrollment figures are submitted and schools have had the opportunity to move up, the staff will set football regions. These recommendations will be presented to the TSSAA Board of Control during their meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2014. Enrollment numbers will be obtained from two sources. The actual numbers used will be those submitted to the Tennessee State Department of Education by each local school system on the 10th day preliminary report in September 2014. Each local Board of Education will be contacted and asked to submit a copy of their report. These reports will be double-checked with the State Department of Education numbers. Heads of member independent schools will be contacted and asked to submit their 20th day enrollment figures as of September 2014. Current Status of Enrollments Received>
