Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Executive Director to fill the vacancy created by the promotion of Mark Reeves to the position of Executive Director effective July 1, 2022.
Applicants for the position should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least five years in a school setting as a full-time certified teacher or administrator. A minimum of three years experience as a school administrator and/or athletic administrator is preferred. A minimum of three years coaching experience at the secondary level is also preferred.
Applicants should have a strong management background and demonstrated leadership in the administration of school-sponsored sports at a local level. Management/organization of district, region, or state tournament activities is desirable.
