The TSSAA Legislative Council will meet at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The meeting will be held in the Mirabella H & I meeting rooms and will begin at 2:00 p.m. central time.
The Council will vote on a proposed addition to Article II of the TSSAA bylaws concerning virtual schools. The Board of Control took action on this that went into effect for the current school year, but the Legislative Council will need to take action on this rule at this meeting.

The proposed changes state that the Board of Control shall meet in August, November, February, and June and the Legislative Council shall meet in December and April.
Another proposed change the Council will consider is to Article II, Section 24 (Special Cases Involving Hardship) of the TSSAA/TMSAA Bylaws, which states:
Any decision of the Executive Director on any request for a waiver of eligibility rules under this section may be appealed de novo to the Board of Control at its August, November, or February meetings.
The final item on the agenda is proposed changes to Article I, Section 9 (Coaches) of the TSSAA/TMSAA Bylaws regarding the penalties for failure to submit coaches properly on the TSSAA Portal.
