The TSSAA Board of Control will meet on Thursday, January 16 at the TSSAA office building in Hermitage. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. CST.
Blackman High School will be appearing to appeal the second year of football probation that resulted from an incident that occurred at the end of the football game between Oakland High School and Blackman High School. Manassas High School will be appearing before the Board to appeal disciplinary action imposed on the school as a result of an altercation that occurred during the girls’ basketball game between Manassas High School and Sheffield High School.
Three different schools will be requesting exceptions to the Co-op rule. J. Frank White Academy is requesting an exception in the sport of baseball; Independence Academy High School is making a request regarding Girls’ Soccer; Hillsboro High School is requesting an exception for Lacrosse.
Financial reports Boys’ and Girls’ Golf State, Girls’ Volleyball, Girls’ Soccer, Cross Country, Cheer and Dance, and the Football Playoffs will be reviewed and presented to the Board for approval.
