Instructions and Information for Teams Entering the TSSAA State Girls' Soccer Tournament
- The TSSAA State Girls' Soccer Tournament will be held in Chattanooga Wednesday, October 31 through Saturday, November 3, 2007.
The Class A-AA Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals will be played at Chattanooga Christian School. The Division II Semi-Finals will be played at Baylor. The Class AAA Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals will be played at Girls Preparatory School. All Championship games will be played at Girls Preparatory School.
The coach of participating teams may pick up their team credentials at the participating team gate entrance.
Each participating team will be allowed 30 passes for the tournament. Passes are for coaches, players, managers, and other members of the varsity team party. As the team checks in at each site, credentials will be issued and tournament procedures will be reviewed.
A tournament squad shall be limited to 22 players. A coach can choose to dress more than 22 players; however only 22 can be listed on the game roster. TSSAA shall pay expenses to the state tournament for 22 players and one coach.
All teams will need to come dressed for play at Chattanooga Christian, GPS, and Baylor. Restroom facilities are available at each site.
The top team in the bracket is the home team and will wear white or light jerseys and stockings.
There will be no practice at the state tournament sites prior to competition. Each site will designate warm up areas before team competition. Access to game fields will be directed by tournament personnel.
Tickets are priced at $7 per person.
At the state tournament, individuals will be allowed to tape or film matches. A school taping or filming its own game may use a tripod. All taping or filming by a school may be approved by the local Game Director, and the Game Director shall assign space, when available, for the school to tape or film from.
