**NEW** Instructions for Completing TSSAA Online Officials Exams

 

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN! 

You will need the following instructions with you when you logon to complete your exam!

 

Do First - Complete the following steps to register for exam account:

 

1.      Go to the TSSAA website at www.tssaa.org and click on the link

Online Officials Exams (Under heading Attention Officials!!) 

2.      Click on the link:  Take the exam at: http://elearning.tssaa.org

3.      Click on Register for New Account and complete the following:

Access Code:  Enter 3333

First Name:  your first name

Last Name:  your last name

Email and Confirm Email:  You must use the email address you used when you signed into the TSSAA/Arbiter Online Registration

Job:  Click on drop down arrow and click on TSSAA Officials

Area Name:  Click on drop down arrow and click on Official (top of list)

User ID:  You must enter the COMPLETE email address you used when you signed into the TSSAA/Arbiter Online Registration (same as above) 

**This is very important** - as this is the way TSSAA will receive your exam score.

Password and Confirm Password:  Choose a Password of your choice, and write it down! 

 

4.      When you have completed above entries, click on “Submit” at bottom of page. 

You will then see a page that says:

“You have been registered into this database.  To access TLM, please click here and login using the UserID and password you used to register.

 

Click on the word “here” and you will be registered into the TSSAA exam database.

You are now registered into TLM (exam site) and will click on “Already Have an Account” to complete your exam.  You do not re-register for each exam in TLM - this registration will be for all exams for the 2007-08 school year.  It will take the system 24 hours to complete your registration for the exams.  After 24 hours, you may login from the link on our website (Step #1 above), click on “Already Have an Account”, and complete your exam(s) – SEE OTHER SIDE

1.      Go to the TSSAA website at www.tssaa.org and click on the link

2.      Online Officials Exams (Under heading Attention Officials!!) 

3.      Click on the link:  Take the exam at: http://elearning.tssaa.org

4.      Click under “Already Have an Account” and type in your User ID (email address)

and your Password.  (You can click on “Forgot Password” and they will email your password to you if needed.) 

 

5.      Click on the exam you want to complete.  You will see two or three modules.  If you get a message “You have a content window open” – simply hold down your “Control “ key (Ctrl) on your keyboard and then click your option.

 

6.      Click on each Module, then click on View Module and read the information, then close.

7.      Reopen the module and choose option Mark Module Complete.  It will

then show the module “Completed”.

8.      Complete steps 6 & 7 for each Module.  Note:  Some exams will have three modules, while others may have only two.

 

9.      When you open the Assessment Module, click on Take Assessment.  Your questions will appear on screen  (This may take several minutes to loadIf it will not load, hold down your “Control “ key (Ctrl) on your keyboard and then click Take Assessment.)

 

10.  Scroll down to end of exam page and click on Print.  This will print the entire exam.  This allows you to use your rulebook and work on answering the questions in your own time.  When you are ready to mark your answers – follow steps #1-#4 below.

 

11.  Click Quit.

12.  Click Logoff at top right of screen – must do! (If you do not click Log Off – you will be locked out for one hour)

 

Instructions to Complete Your Exam and Mark Your Answers

 

1.      Follow above steps #1 – #4.

2.      Click on Module:  Assessment. 

3.      Click on option Take Assessment.  Your same set of questions will appear.  If you get a message “You have a content window open” – simply hold down your

“Control “ key (Ctrl) on your keyboard, and then click your option.

 

4.      When you have completed marking your answers, click on Mark Test. 

You will see your score and the questions you missed with a reference to find more information about the questions in your rule book.  Print your results!!!
