- Approved membership Applications for 2005 Calendar Year
- Approved Financial Report of the 2004 Boys' and Girls' State Golf Tournaments
- Approved Financial Report of the 2004 Girls' Volleyball Tournaments
- Approved Financial Report of the Girls' Soccer Tournaments
- Approved Financial Report of the 2004 State Cross Country Meets
- Approved Financial Report of the 2004 Cheerleading Competition
- Reviewed Financial Report of the 2004 Football Playoffs. Final report will be brought to the Board of Control in March for approval.
- Approved 2005-2006 TSSAA Calendar
- Instructed the state office to conduct the drawing for the Regional and State Tennis Tournaments
- Reviewed Action Taken by the Legislative Council at December 1, 2004 meeting
- Approved Magnolia Academy's Request for Membership in TSSAA effective with the 2005-2006 school year
- Approved Yo Academy's Request for Membership in TSSAA effective immediately
- Bids for Spring Fling, beginning in 2006 were presented by Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville to the Board. After reviewing all of the proposals, the Board voted to not accept the proposals for rotation as submitted by the four cities and that the TSSAA staff will move forward with administering the Spring Fling for 2006, 2007, and 2008 at a site to be determined at a later date.
- The staff and Board of Control received proposals submitted by three cities (Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, and Nashville) for the Division I and Division II State Football Championships. After reviewing all of the information, the Board voted to hold both the Division I and Division II State Football Championships will be held at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
- Voted to keep the present state basketball tournament format through 2009.
- Board named a committee to study the Awards Proposals that have been received for 2005-2006, 2006-2007, and 2007-2008 and requested that committee to report back to the Board in March of 2005 at the next meeting.
- Voted to leave as is the Class A district classification in West Tennessee Regions 7 and 8 (Districts 13, 14, 15, and 16).
