TWELVE MORE TO JOIN THE TSSAA HALL OF FAME Twelve more outstanding figures in high school athletics will be inducted into the TSSAA Hall of Fame at the annual luncheon at the James Union Building on the MTSU campus in Murfreesboro on Saturday, March 19. This is the same day as the Division I boys' basketball finals, which will be held at Murphy Center on the campus of MTSU as well. Three administrators, six coaches, and three officials will be inducted that day to join others in the annual gathering of those selected since the process began in 1982. Those being inducted at this year's luncheon are: Roy Dukes, administrator from Lewisburg; Hale Harris, administrator from Nashville; W. A. "Buddy" Pate, Jr., administrator from Eagleville; Harry Beamon, official from Nashville; Santo Cicirello, official from Limestone; Ray Moffett, official from Fayetteville; Bill Derrick, coach from Nashville; Hester Gibbs, coach from Lebanon; Andy Pugh, coach from Halls; Louis Thompson, coach from Fayetteville; Terry Tippett, coach from Germantown; and Vic Varallo, coach from Nashville. The Hall of Fame luncheon will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19. The luncheon is to not only honor the new inductees and their families, but to honor all past inductees into the TSSAA Hall of Fame.
